London Haul

I've been dying for some new clothes for quite some time and i've scoured every shop and every website but nothing appealed to me or inspired me at all. I was going through one of those phases where you like nothing in your wardrobe and theres nothing new you like and you feel like you've hit a style brick wall. However the sunny weekend we spent in London a fortnight ago just got me re-inspired and loads of little gems jumped out at me.

First of all this little number I found at a vintage fair in Brick Lane for only £15 and I had it have it. It reminded me of Courtney Love, I think it's very Hole-esq!

Secondly I found this beautiful jacket which is probably my favourite piece out of all of them. I dug it out of one of those £3 bins in Absolute Vintage in Brick Lane and it's a sort of woolly mohairy type of jacket and I just love it and wear it with everything right now!

I've had my eye on this jumpsuit from Urban Outfitters for quite a while, it's a lovely comfy grey Jersey fabric and it was originally £48 down to £25 so I had to snap it up! Unfortunately you can't seem to get it on the website anymore but I'm sure plenty of stores will still have it.

This Staring at Stars dress was again in the Urban Outfitters sale section and is by a brand called Staring at Stars. It is another of my favourite pieces as its just the perfect little summer dress for those lovely hot days.

I saw these in Uniqlo and instantly fell in love. I don't have too many shorts for summer as I generally hate getting my legs out but these are the perfect short for me, super high waisted and not too short. They have a real 50's feel about them and I love the print. I can't believe they were only £7.90!

I wish i'd got more of these Celia Birtwell pyjama pants when I saw them in Uniqlo, there were loads of different prints and they're reduced to £9.90. There so comfy and I've worn them loads since I brought them. They were intitally one of those weird purchases I wasn't sure that I'd actually wear and now I feel like I can't live without them!

I seem to have brought loads recently so I've got a few more 'Haul' style posts lined up. Let me know what you think. Charlie x x x

Honey, Rose & Ambers first magazine mini feature.

Honey Rose and Amber's first ever magazine feature! I'm so proud! The lovely Rosie of Carelessly Cut approached me a little while back to see if I would be interested in being part of the magazine and I was so so excited. It's such a lovely opportunity for a small brand like mine when I am really only just starting out. It's such a lovely magazine as well which makes it even nicer.

The magazine is out now available to buy from WHSmiths for £4.99 needless to say i've already been and brought my copy, it's definitely one for the scrapbook.

A mega good time!

Firstly I should start by apologizing for disappearing from the blogging world briefly. I don't want to go into the ins and outs but you all know how life can be challenging at times and this has just been one of those times but needless to say i'm now stronger and better for the experience. And after all this chaos in my life what better than to spend a lovely weekend in London with the love of my life, it was our one year anniversary after all! Wow! I still can't believe that I met the man of my dreams, I really thought it was the stuff that fairy tales are made of but nope, dreams really do come true! Anywho, here's a few pictures from our lovely adventures last weekend. We visited The Photographers Gallery and The National History Museum whilst we were there and enjoyed some lovely food at The Breakfast Club. I also went on a bit of a mad shopping spree, rude not to when you're in london really but I was really pleased because I haven't really found anything i've liked in the shops for months and was very uninspired by it but now I have a very full wardrobe again so lots of outfit posts coming up soon! Enjoy! Charlie x x x
